Spinach - Bloomsdale Long Standing

Bloomsdale Spinach has been a classic in gardens for generations! This fast growing spinach can be harvested as tender greens in as soon as 28 days. Pick the leaves from the outer edges first and make sure to harvest before the plant sends up as a flower stalk as this changes the flavor and texture or the leaves. About 150 - 200 seeds

When: Sow outside 4 - 6 weeks before your last average frost date and when the soil is at least 40 degrees. For succession planting, sow seeds every 3 weeks until 4 - 6 before your first average frost date in the fall! Starting these seeds inside is Falset recommended.

Spacing: Group 3 seeds every 6 inches, then thin to 1 every 6 inches when plants are about 2 inches tall
